Information
D&A is an interdisciplinary research group that conceives "identity" as its fundamental object for exploration, knowledge, and recognition of local factors that permit, from the arts, design, and architecture the formulation of proposals and projects aimed at strengthening the culture, thus, contributing to the construction of a better society. The Research Group on Design and Art, D&A, promotes a research culture that through reflection and inquiry lead to the generation of new knowledge, in a way that it provides spaces of thought on topics of Design, Architecture, Arts, and Culture.
Objectives
To develop and support research projects that permit approaching and recognizing the region as principal element for the elaboration of proposals in art, design, and architecture, in search of an identity.

Services
- D&A enables spaces where, through projects, solutions are suggested to problems of the local environment in areas of design, art, and architecture.
- Consultancy for the execution of projects in sustainable urban planning and for the formulation of land use plans, POT - for the term in Spanish, and heritage protection plans.
- Consultancy and advice for the conceptualization and development of artisan, audio-visual, and interactive products.
- Laboratory services of digital production, visual design, urban modeling, and geographic information systems.
